Conveniently located in the downtown area, Roots Salon came to life in 2014 because of a stylist named Shannon and a printer shop worker named Bobby, but before it was Roots Salon, this was the first free standing salon in our beautiful city of Cape Coral.

 

Over 40 years ago, in 1980, this building was Gina’s Salon and was built for her by her husband.  She ran her salon until 1994 when Barry and Anton purchased it, and it became Barry Anton Salon. By taking on a business that has been a pillar in the community, we had a lot of the leg work done for us but needed something to honor its long standing heritage.  With the seeds being planted by the visionaries before us, we wanted to further establish our own roots in Cape Coral while honoring those before us and bring Roots Salon to life. From roller sets to perms, this location has been providing residents and guests of southwest Florida beautiful hair for over 40 years. If only these walls could talk!
